In the Church before Evening Prayer be silent. Pray, too, sometimes. Talk to Him. Good advice from another. Each season passes, the work of prayer goes on, as can be done. We are mortal, passing through, but you, O Lord, are eternal. Have mercy. Resting In The Lord Seeking Christ, I rest in His strength during contemplation. Sometimes, my mind is like so many thoughts, monkeys going on about busy business, that I must quiet it. Resting in Christ is a help; each day I open myself to the Lord, and listen, aware, yet still, sensing His perfection. Pursuit of God, some call this. Funny pursuit, waiting on the Lord.
