Such sounds man and woman
speak aloud, the words
of these sacred alliterations.

I want to hear you
tomorrow
read from the lectern;
hear: alit with candles
burning with life. Gift.
Gospel.
Church is for hearing
the Word.
We Sang Hymn 204
2002)
Love is come again
like wheat that springeth green.

Sweetness and joy meet.
We share our lives, their fabric weaves us.

Is this an adventure, I yearn for love-- died.

Now the green blade riseth...
My soul.

Sunday. The sharing of bread
and wine
went on in journey.
From my deck,
the shadow of myself appeared
on a tree

O ye works of the Lord, bless ye the Lord

After communion I sing
love lives again
minutes previous wondered,
thought and prayed on my knees.

Prayer inviting quiet inner space
(2001)
In desire for the Lord, I look
at my book of Year One now past to find
Saturday and I confess my notes O God,
in preparation for Sunday,
never failing providence I copied, these words
to speak with my lips:
I confess You, One God ordereth all things
both in heaven and earth:
good words to set ones heart to pray
we humbly beseech thee to put away from us
all hurtful things
and to give us those things which are
profitable for us.
